About Mosaicat

Mosaicat is a captivating puzzle browser game that challenges your logic and brain skills through a unique grid-based gameplay. In the free online game Mosaicat, your objective is to cut the grid into rectangles, following clues provided by numbers on certain tiles, ultimately uncovering a hidden picture beneath the board. Each number on the grid in Mosaicat represents the size of the rectangle it belongs to, making the game a delightful blend of logic and color-based puzzle solving.

Playing Mosaicat involves interpreting these numbers carefully. For example, a tile with the number 6 in Mosaicat means that the rectangle containing that tile must cover exactly six squares, which could be arranged as 1x6, 2x3, 3x2, or 6x1 in shape. The challenge in Mosaicat lies in figuring out where these rectangles fit on the board without overlapping, ensuring every square is part of one rectangle, and each number corresponds exactly to the size of its rectangle. Once a rectangle is correctly placed in Mosaicat, the covered tiles reveal a segment of the hidden picture that you are gradually assembling piece by piece.

Mosaicat stands out as a puzzle brain game with no timers, no lives, and no penalties for mistakes. If you draw a rectangle that does not belong in Mosaicat, it is simply refused, allowing you to try again without any loss. How to Play

The board is covered in tiles, and some of them carry a number. Every number is
the size of the rectangle it belongs to.

squares: 1x6, 2x3, 3x2 or 6x1.
2. Drag across the grid to draw that rectangle, and release to place it.
3. The tiles it covered turn into part of the hidden picture.
4. Repeat until every square on the board is inside a rectangle.

Rules:
Each rectangle covers exactly one number.
That number is how many squares the rectangle covers.
Rectangles never overlap.
Every square ends up inside one.
