Seven Down

About Seven Down

Seven Down is a unique rolling-die puzzle game that challenges your logic and brain skills through innovative gameplay centered on a simple yet powerful rule: the number hidden beneath the die is always the face touching the ground, and opposite faces add up to seven. This captivating premise makes Seven Down a standout puzzle game that combines 3D movement, strategic planning, and spatial reasoning to create an engaging free online game experience.

In Seven Down, players roll a die across various boards where the visible number on the bottom face is the essential factor guiding each move. Because opposite sides on a die add to seven, the hidden number can always be deduced, which makes Seven Down a brain-training game that tests your ability to think ahead and solve mind puzzles. Every roll advances the die through levels that require both logic and careful planning to reach specific target numbers or objectives based on the route you choose.

Seven Down features three distinct game modes sharing the same die-driven logic. The Puzzle mode offers 60 hand-checked boards plus a daily puzzle that challenges players to navigate the die to specific numbers by selecting the optimal path. Action mode ramps up the excitement with 120 stages set across six different maps, introducing hazards like gaps, spikes, crumbling tiles, sweeping arms, conveyor belts, and turrets. In this mode, players pick up powers by landing on numbers targeted by the level’s design, adding an exciting action twist to this free online game. Lastly, the Maze mode includes 60 dark labyrinths that reveal only the area you've walked, requiring sharp memory and spatial awareness to successfully solve the puzzles.

Seven Down’s logic and brain challenge is backed by a solver that verifies every level’s shortest route before release, meaning every game board is solvable with the perfect strategy—a hallmark of quality puzzle games. The game’s world is procedurally generated in real-time, including textures, music, and boards, ensuring a fresh, offline-capable puzzle experience every time you play Seven Down. This makes it one of the more dynamic brain-training games available as a browser game.

Playing Seven Down is intuitive yet mentally demanding. Desktop controls let you roll the die with arrow keys or WASD, and you can use special powers like bridge, guard, and shield to overcome hazards. Mobile controls are touch-based for easy roll direction and power activation—everything is accessible onscreen without memorization. As a 1-player game focused on brain-training and mind puzzles, Seven Down emphasizes thoughtful rolling, spatial logic, and careful planning to succeed.

In conclusion, Seven Down is a free online puzzle game that uniquely combines logic, 3D die rolling, and brain-training elements to create a memorable mind game. With multiple game modes, challenging levels, and procedurally generated content, Seven Down is a must-try for anyone looking for stimulating puzzle gameplay within a browser game environment. Experience the clever die mechanics and enjoy the thoughtful challenges that make Seven Down an exceptional logic puzzle game perfect for sharpening your brain and testing your mind.

How to Play

The Number You Can't See

Roll a die across a board — and the number that counts is the face touching the
ground, the one you can never see. Opposite sides of a die always add up to
seven, so the hidden number is always the one you can work out. Three games are
built on that single rule: 60 puzzle boards, 120 chased action stages, and 60
mazes drawn only where you have already been.

Desktop Controls:
↑ ↓ ← → (Arrow keys) or W A S D: Roll the die. In the action stages the die
keeps rolling for as long as you hold the key.
1: Bridge — lay a crossing over a gap.
2: Guard — blunt the spikes.
3: Shield — survive one hit.
C: Change camera.
V: Overview — pull back and see the whole board.
Spacebar: Skip the countdown.
Esc: Menu.

Mobile Controls:
Drag anywhere: Roll the die in that direction.
Tap a power chip: Use bridge, guard or shield.
Everything else is on screen — there is nothing to memorise.
